In a conversation about Iceland this week, I realised that it’s been 6 whole months since I visited and I still haven’t got around to sharing everything that I wanted to, it gave me the nudge I needed to get on with it!
As you’ll already know if you’ve read my other Iceland posts, we didn’t hire a car (I can’t drive and didn’t want it all to fall to P) but it didn’t hold us back one bit! We still got to see plenty of the major sights and in fact, I would say there were even bonuses to it (namely, us both being able to take in the jaw dropping scenery as we travelled from A to B and both being able to nap on the journey back!)
Iceland is, quite simply, out of this world. It’s an absolutely majestic country and if you’re a nature fan you will be blown away by the sheer drama and beauty of it all!
