Whispers from the chair

With the recent heatwave we’ve been chatting ‘all things picnics’ in the salon chair and discussing fave, local, independent places to shop for picky bits and nibbles.

Local recs have included Culver & Nelson (Sheen), The Alberts Deli (Richmond), and Parsnips (Teddington) as well as Ted’s Market days (Teddington, on the last Saturday of the month - which usually coincide with my pop-up Facial day in Teddington too! How’s that for a dreamy way to spend part of your weekend?)

I’m fast becoming a bit obsessed with Hoxton Mini Press and remember spying this Guide to London Deli’s in Attic in Hampton Hill. Plenty of lovely inspiration in there for picnic supplies too!

And how cute are these retro, Polar picnic cool boxes? The pink and green are my faves.

To keep on reading you’ll need a paid subscription. I’m chatting enticing places and products on my radar, recent resto recs and the dishes to order, sip saves, supermarket basket bounty, and a foodie substack to know that launches soon.

Do remember, that if you are a salon client (hair or facials) you are entitled to a juicy 50% saving off an annual subscription which means you can have access to every single pay walled post, (plus the archive) for an entire year, for just £25! Please message me if this interests you and I will send you a link to upgrade.
