Sunday 13th July
Good morning! I hope you’re enjoying a lovely weekend.
Ours has been one of visiting family, sea air, fish and chips on the beach, lots of sunshine, garden BBQ, all of the good stuff. In truth I don’t wish to be anywhere else at all, but if I had to choose, then
This weekend, I wish I was waking . .
At: De Durgerdam a natural, nautical hideaway on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Explore the local area on Veloretti bikes, paddleboard, swim or take a boat trip on the waters of Lake Ijmeer.
In: these scallop, cotton pyjamas in buttermilk by tbco.

Good things of note from the last fortnight . .
I picked up 2 copies of London Green Spaces by Hoxton Mini Press (their guides make super gifts!) in Postmark (I’ll often head here for cards, they have the best selection!) It might surprise you to discover that half of London is made up of green space including 3,000 parks! This book is a great guide for inspiring days off spent exploring (green) pastures new!
Closer to home in Richmond Park, shire horses are making a return in a trial, to help move timber in wild life-sensitive areas as a low-impact alternative to heavy machinery. Apparently there are only 2,000 shire horses left world wide, and 10 of them live in Richmond Park!
Amanda Bergman is a new to me, Swedish Singer/Song Writer and I’ve been playing her albums on repeat since my accidental discovery last week. This track Golden is one of my favourites.
Popped down to recently opened Base Face in Richmond and can report that their pizza is DELICIOUS, even the dough is exceptional - get the garlic butter and slather it on the crusts! (Branches also in Hammersmith, Putney and Barnes)
Petersham Nurseries in the sunshine - just pure joy! Whiled away a couple of hours between clients with a wander over the meadow, French toast, a pot of rose and lychee tea and a mooch around the gorgeous shop. The most heavenly brunch break imaginable!

Watched documentary Savage Waters on the train ride North (available to rent/buy on Prime Video)
“A 19th century treasure hunter's journal inspires a captivating journey to seek out and surf a mythical, never-ridden wave in some of the most remote and dangerous waters of the Atlantic Ocean. For renowned skipper, Matt Knight, sailing to unpredictable and uncharted regions is impossible to resist.”

I’m a Libra through and through and this simple advice was a good reminder to feel your way and trust your gut.
Thanks for being here, I hope you found something new and interesting!
