Pyjama Post #4
Rituals with rosemary, stationary satisfaction and one of the world's oldest crafts on the rooftops of Devon
Every Sunday I’ll bring you a short but sweet, pick and mix, of things worth sharing from the week gone by, delivered to your inbox ready for a lazy, morning scroll while you’re still in your PJ’s. It’s free to read.

Good Morning!
This week I’ve been chit-chatting with clients about the exciting launch of Weleda’s new, limited edition, Rosemary Revitalising Shampoo* and Conditioner*. Inspired by the famous Revitalising Hair Tonic* (which has been around for over a hundred years and yet, is still a viral TikTok sensation!) The two new additions along with the existing tonic now provide a complete, holistic hair and scalp routine. In a nutshell, the shampoo will gently cleanse and help to add volume, the conditioner will provide weightless nourishment to help achieve softer, smoother hair and the tonic is proven to reduce hair loss, encourage hair growth, help with thinning and scalp problems such as dandruff and dryness. (Remember to add the spritz pump* for easier application) *links direct you to my Weleda Advisor webshop
With the end of the year now on the horizon I’ve chosen a new diary for 2025 and I’ve gone with The Inspired Stories again. I’ve got a digital diary for work and another for social plans but I still feel the need for a paper diary for daily scribbles, to-do lists and life admin and a brand new one just feels sooo satisfying! I know I’m not alone in my love of a paper P.A as I see plenty of clients using them too when planning their next appointments. The Inspired Stories offer a range of 4 different layouts and gorgeous colours and finishes to choose from which can also be personalised. There are prompts and reminders within the pages to encourage regular reflection and space to record highlights and lessons. I really rate them!
These ‘cashmere’ (hmm at just 20% cashmere that’s a bit misleading but I like them nonetheless) hat/hood/scarf combo balaclava’s by OST look cosy for Winter.
I’m forever fascinated by creative artisans that have perfected crafts that require patience, skill, and specialist knowledge, particularly those with ancient methods that have been passed down through generations. This week I heard about a book called On The Roof: A Thatchers Journey by Tom Allan. Combining storytelling, nature, craft and community it sounds like a world where I could happily get lost among the pages. Have added to my reading list!
Thoughts of thatched roofs take me back to a visit to the village of Hinton St George in Somerset where you’ll find The Lord Poulett Arms, just one of the gorgeous pubs with rooms on offer from the faultless collection by The Beckford Group. Think roaring fires, comfort food classics, comfy beds and candlelit breakfasts. Definitely worth bookmarking for a Winter escape to the countryside!
Hope you have a beautiful Sunday!
