The weather in London the last couple of days has felt nothing short of glorious. Sunshine and lots of it! The dopamine hit that everyone has been craving, and yes, even I, hardy Northerner and lover of the cold, dark and rain have been touched by the loveliness of it all. The mood boosting benefits can be felt on the streets as you walk around, everyone just seems so much happier now that Spring is well and truly on the way.

On Monday I finished work early and decided to make the most of the afternoon by taking the river route home, Maribou State in my ears, sun on my face. (With factor 50 applied, of course.)

I’d been strolling a while, passing all of the familiar landmarks when I sensed that something was missing.
