Earlier this month, I hopped on a train and headed off to North Norfolk to explore new coastlines, with an old friend.

Our destination was Sheringham and our abode, a converted Fisherman’s shed, in such close proximity to the sea, that you could watch the waves roll in from the living room window and hear them break from your bed.

I’ve wanted to visit these shores for years but I’d been under the impression that travelling here by train could be a nightmare - turns out, it wasn’t!

Sure it was long, (almost 5 hours from outer London) but the connections were seamless, no delays and it was actually quite a relaxing journey.
