What to expect
For years, in some capacity or other, I have been sharing round up’s of everything I’ve been discussing and discovering each month in salon with my guests.
With numerous women sitting in my chair each week, from a wide range of backgrounds and industries, it becomes a hot seat of exchange and I am privy to all kinds of interesting anecdotes and conversations!
Creativity is in my blood and I so enjoy writing, taking photographs and documenting useful information that others can enjoy, but it’s not my main gig and takes up a LOT of time, which can be difficult to carve out while running a business where I need to be present in salon.
I decided there would be nothing to loose in giving things a go on a more professional level and joining Substack to offer a subscription based newsletter with both free and paid options available. The paid element allows me to include writing as part of my business model and prioritise scheduled time each week to create posts.
Paid subscribers are the reason TFTC exists and I genuinely couldn’t justify the time it takes to produce this publication without them! In return, ‘paying subs’ will always receive more - more value, more knowledge, more posts, more perks. But everyone is welcome!

As any good Stylist knows, some tales from the chair are strictly confidential but the snippets of our conversations that can be shared will be found here along with tips and recommendations on all of the best products, places and people worth knowing.
As well as hair, skin and well-being I have a penchant for savouring the seasons and the great outdoors, food and design led destinations and escapes to the countryside and coast, so expect plenty of content surrounding these topics, as well as a good dose of support for the local and smaller indie businesses out there doing great things!
